2010 is almost at an end!

It has been far too long sense I have been on here to blog about my precious family, but sense it is Christmas time and 2010 is almost at an end and I have so much to be thankful for I thought it would be a good time to update everyone on our little family.

Wow! What a year it has been. I have a lot of catching up to do!

First big this this year is, that we moved. After living in Bridgeport for a few years we decided to move back to Stephenville. That was a tough decision because that meant leaving my parents. We were only 15 minutes away from them, and I loved seeing my Mom almost everyday, but we knew Stephenville was where we were happy and we really missed it. So, In August we moved back. We were fortunate to find a home that is perfect for our family and we couldn't be happier.

Another HUGE change for our family is that I started working this year. I have had the great blessing of being a stay at home mom for 9 years and I loved every moment of it. I have been there for every single moment of my babies lives. I have cherished the special moments that only a stay at home mommy can experience. I am forever grateful to John for providing for our family so well and allowing me to do that. However, at this time in our lives I knew I needed to work. Hannah and Jonah are in school all day and Josiah is in preschool half the day and I felt it was time, so when we moved to Stephenville I began to work. For a brief time I worked at a Law Firm until I found a job working as a Secretary with the Stephenville Independent School District. I am so thankful for this new job which allows me to have the same schedule as the kids. This job was truly a blessing from Heavenly Father!

John is still working with Air Evac as a Flight-Paramedic and teaches a TON of classes for the company. He keeps very busy. He such a good Daddy and a wonderful husband. We celebrated our 9th anniversary last month. It has been a blessed and happy 9 years.

Now for an update on my babies:

Hannah Elaine Whitt is almost 8 years old now. I can't believe she will be getting baptized in 3 months. Where has the time gone??? She is doing so well. She has really blossomed into a confident and outgoing little girl. She is such a little sweet heart. She is enjoying 2nd grade and loves going to school. She loves going to tumbling and LOVES to come home after school and play basketball outside with her friend Hannah H. (our neighbor). Another interest that she has is art and she is quite good at it, she is very creative. She is such a helper to me, she is little caretaker to her brothers and helps so much with Jonah. She is so loving and loves to cuddle and sleep with me when John is at work. I'm going to miss that when she gets bigger :'(

As for my Bubba do,

Jonah is 6 years old now and just as sweet as he has always been. He is getting to be such a big boy. Growing bigger and developing everyday. His vocabulary has expanded so much. He is so funny and has the best sense of humor and imagination. I love to see the world through is eyes. It so much more sweet and tender. He lives in such a different world than we do. When they say children with Autism live in their "own little worlds" it so true, but the world he lives in is pure and innocent, full of love and kindness. Jonah is such a joy in our lives. He presents challenges that no "normal" family will ever have to deal with or could even possibly began to imagine but the blessings that he gives and the joy we receive are far greater.

Now for the Supper Hero!!! Josiah David or should I say Iron Man, is such a CHARACTER!! He is the funnest kid. He truly believes that he is a super hero. Some days he's Iron man, other days he's Batman or Spiderman. In the picture above he was a football hero. We have had so much fun raising this little guy. He always wants to perform for us. Dancing or showing off his muscles. Hes always putting on a show. He is silly and unless hes tired or sick then he is ALWAYS in a good mood. He is a guys guy and thinks he is an equal to his Daddy and Tickitie. This year Josiah started Preschool and he loves it! He loves making friends and de doesn't know a stranger. If you met Josiah he is automatically a friend. He is soo outgoing. Such a sweet heart.
I love being a mommy to these 3 kids. They have grown so much this past year and it's bitter sweet to see that. I sure wish they could stay little forever!

I love my family and I hope 2011 is as blessed of a year as 2010 has been!

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Summer vacation is over

We had such a wonderful summer vacation. The kids had so much fun. We did a lot of exciting things and had a blast. I am sad it's over, but I am looking forward to the school year ahead. Here are a few pictures of the activities we did with the kids over the summer.

Camping at Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose.
The kids had such a wonderful time!

We took the kids to the Circus and they LOVED it!!

We had a little mini vacation. We went to Six Flags Hurricane harbor and stayed at a hotel in Arlington. Hurricane harbor was a blast, and was so much fun. Other then Jonah going down the black hole without us knowing everything was great!
